Follow Up emails can now be CC’d to another party and/or sent to Reservation roster members.
To CC other parties you enter the other party email address(es) into the Emails tab in the mailing list. You can check a box to indicate if Reservation and/or Mailing List follow up emails are to be CC’d. From then on any Follow up emails sent to that customer will be CC’d to the other parties.
To send Followup emails to roster members (when a Follow up email is sent to the group leader) check the ‘Send to Roster’ check box in the Follow up stage setup. You can choose which stage or stages should send to the roster members.
While these two features are very similar, they have one major difference – who the email is addressed to. Mass emails cannot be CC’d, the recipient is always in the To address.
When you CC other parties they receive an exact copy of the email that was sent to the main person. If the main email contains personalized information, such as ‘Dear Bill’, the copy will also say ‘Dear Bill’.
When you ‘Send to Roster’ the roster members are treated the same as the group leader and receive a unique email. Even if the main email says ‘Dear Bill’, roster members will receive an email personalized to their name, such as ‘Dear Jane’.
