Reservations – Setup
Introduction
This series of tutorials covers everything you need to know in order to setup your items. Items are the products and services you offer that can be booked on a reservation. This series starts with an introduction to the various item types then progresses through how to setup each item type. Items cannot be setup without first doing some background work. For instance, activities cannot be setup until activity groups or tax codes have been established. This background setup is divided into two categories: item specific and item generic. Item specific setups are for background setups specific to certain item types. Item generic setups are for background setups that are used by all item types.
Even though you must do the background setups prior to setting up items we cover item setups first. This is to give you a better sense of what you are trying to accomplish before going ahead and doing the background setups.

Item Setup – Common
This series of tutorial videos covers aspects of the item setups that are common to all items. An existing activity is used as an example. The first video covers the main page plus the schedule. Packages
Packages are a very powerful tool in ROAM. You can combine any items together. You can offer guests choices between items. You add additional items to a package at reservation time. You can pre-price a package, have ROAM calculate the price, or have the reservationist determine the price. You can go from a fixed item, fixed price, right up to a totally custom package.
